Grizzly sells the RF-30 as the G1006 and the part number for the table nut (as they call it) is P1005423. You can call them for a price. Enco also lists the RF-30 part as 4-23. Harbor Freight has sold both the RF-30 as its 2119 machine and more recently as the 33686 model which is a clone of the RF-30 and probably has the same nut as part 137.

It's a round column mill with the issues described above; We can address points 1 and 2 by a CNC conversion, involving replacing the leadscrews with a nice modern ballscrew and ball-nut, and stepper motor drive. Hi Jim, I sold my RF-31 a couple of years ago, but from memory, the "bronze" table nut (23) is bolted to the saddle with two cap-screws. The retaining holes are intentionally loose so you can thread the nut onto the crossfeed screw, and then tighten up the screws such that the table doesn't bind when you wind it back and forth.

How accurate is the real question. There are no standards for Asian mills to my knowledge. My personal RF-31 spindle runs out at just under 0.0001"TIR but I think that anything under 0.0002"TIR would be pretty good. This run out stuff matters because it affects accuracy, tool life and finishes, and this applies to anything you put in the spindle.
